Seagate and Lenovo Data Recovery in London

Monday, March 26th, 2018

Here are some of the latest data recovery enquiries from owners of Seagate, WD and Lenovo hard drive users in London, England. Look at the entire 24hourcomputerrepairs blog for details on sourcing a data recovery service in London.

Seagate hard drive for data recoveryMy Seagate free agent Goflex drive fell damaging its power unit (the power unit is plugged to wall socket). The drive no longer powers up and I am unable to access my data. Are you able to recover data as I have tried private shop in London.

I have a tempremental Seagate Home share 3TB network hard drive that is intermitantly failing. It lets me access it now and then but most of the time its unavailable. There are many docs and photo’s on there I would like to recover and wondered if you could do it and what it might cost?

Ticking WD2500 hard drive
I have a WD2500 (WD Cavier SE16 – WD P/N WD2500KS – 00MJB0) internal hard drive.
The drive had been clicking recently as it spins down to go into standby mode or when the computer is shutdown.
Now the discs spins up on computer boot, clicks rapidly then spins down, the drive no longer mounts and is not visible on the computer.
Is it possible to repair the drive to allow me to access / retrieve the data?

Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 Firmware Updates
Model ST3150034aAS
This model needs to run on updated firmware – so please make sure yours is up to date
No longer recognised when installed or when connected by USB adaptor.
When powered up, there is a low regular tone.

My samsung evo 840 msata 1tb suddenly became undetectable by my laptop. The bios reports not detected hdd. Is there any chance of recovery and if so at what cost?

I’ve got a Lenovo, windows 10, SSD memory and I can not login, I get the error messages “service centre fail, user profile can not loaded”
I want at least , in worst situation, to safe the data from it.
Can you do that?

Seagate Hard Drive Recovery – London and Worcester

Wednesday, March 7th, 2018

In this post I examine some recent data recovery enquiries for Seagate hard drives.

SMART value errors
I have a seagate hard drive (1 TB back up plus). It has a lot of precious data on it and I haven’t been able to get it to work for some time now.
When I click on the icon, an error message occurs that tells me it needs to be formatted- I have not done this.
I have extremely limited knowledge of anything like this but I downloaded a SMART tester that identified ‘197 current pending secret count RAW value 16‘ and a whole host of other errors such as ‘uncorrectavle error in data’. Unfortunately I don’t know what any of this means or how to recover anything safely, I’m just really hoping it can be saved!!
There shouldn’t be any physical damage to the drive but I don’t think I’ve been careful enough when unplugging it. I’d be really grateful if I could have it looked at for data recovery. Would this be onto a new drive (if it’s possible?). I live in Malvern, Worcestershire and happy to drop it in to the office.

Malvern, Worcestershire

I have a Seagate 350gb external harddrive that I use occasionally to backup files and photos and today it was not recognised by my computer. It bleeped when the USB was connected to the drive but it couldn’t connect and now the light is on on the harddrive but it isn’t being recognised by 2 different computers and I have checked the cables etc. Putting my ear to it I can hear it is whirring with a slight throb to it. It has photos of Worcester (especially Great Malvern) on it that I don’t have elsewhere and would like to recover them.

Seagate Barracuda 3.5″ internal SATA HDD. Used in an external enclosure for backing up of videos and photos. Enclosure slipped off surface and dropped onto the floor while powered on. Since then, when powering on HDD there is a slight buzzing noise for 2 seconds followed by a sharp beep. This repeats for 20 seconds then HDD goes dead; no spinning, no noise, no power. Attempted to power on through enclosure, SATA dock to PC and slaving to an existing PC. All with same results. Spoke with Phil Buttifant on phone and keen to drop off HDD for free diagnostics (Lombard St, London). Require reference number.

My 1 TB seagate expansion doesn’t work when connect it to my laptop and this doesn’t allow me to access my documents on the hard drive. I live in Worcestershire but travel frequently to London
